Sample clip (Coming Soon)

When the world is much to hard to take

I leave it all behind-

I go to where  my heartbeat  meets

The silence in my mind

There’s just one place I want to be

Where my soul is part of every tree

My  conversation with the earth  and  sky

Is just between God and I

HOME ---where the meadows meet me

HOME--- where the green grass greets me

And the creak in the  front door knows my name

When I’m  HOME SWEET HOME

When I’m HOME SWEET HOME

I no longer need to catch the wind

I’ve chased it far too long

It whistled in my  own backyard

But I  couldn’t  hear its song

Till the morning sun and moon at night

Lit up  my mind ---- and shed some light

Dare to dream …until you dance on air

Dreams right there at my back stairs

CHORUS

Now if my dreams should  crash and crumble

I always have my home

Together we can weather any storm alone

Come hell or high waters

If I have to sing for quarters

I’ll be singing a dream

That’s my own

Back home…. where the meadows meet me

HOME--- where the green grass greets me

And the creak in the  front door knows my name

When   I’m  HOME SWEET HOME
 HOME  SWEET HOME

Songwriting Inspiration:

In 1984 I purchased my first house It was not the kind of residence one  associates with buying you first home:  a 19,,000 sq ft Country Club with 9/18 hole golf course, complete with blacktop parking for 800 cars, 3 large industrial catering kitchens, a banquet hall, a ballroom, 2 wall to wall bars ,6,000 pieces of china/glassware and silverware,150  lockers/ showers/ pro shop, 24 golf carts,  double Olympic swimming pool, 60ft turret, 30 ft ceilings…… located on 190 acres at one of the highest points in CT with spectacular vistas…….. and a stream running through the basement. I feel like I already live in heaven. I tell everyone… If I die tomorrow….don’t cry for me… have a big party …with a lot of food… I’m just going a few steps up from where I already am…….
